Lord, it's me again calling your Name
To share in some sorrow I've heard
About a man who lived life with limited fortune and fame
But always a helping hand and kind word.

If votes count in heaven, and we trust that they do,
Please give Tones a place at your table.
Many of us here found him a good friend and true
Ready to give whatever he was able.

We miss his big heart, or we miss his big voice,
Or the smiles that he brought to our days
For even we who hadn't met him, he still was our choice
As a man we'd like to ride with a ways.

For his family that's now in the deepest of pain
And whose days have unbearable length,
Could you check in on them and please let them gain
The comfort found in your love and strength.

Can we ask one more thing, to give this message its reach
To tell TdT what we think he's worth.
Just one heartfelt message for Tony da Teach'
We miss you, Tones, down here on earth.

Enjoy the celestial road and wherever it leads
May those heavenly roads have no ends.
We hope Bimmers have a place among heavenly steeds,
And you're missed here by all of your friends.

I'll sign off now, Lord, and trust in my heart
In all about You that I've learned.
That you'll accept our prayer and not keep Tones apart
From Your Love, life's reward, duly earned.
