Although I was never a real student of Tony, he was my mentor. He helped me with homework even when he wasnt working. He inspired me to become a teacher of social sciences and to ride motorcycles along with my family and friends off the internet. The fondest memory I have of Tones, was in the Alamo Run of 2000 when I rode on his beemer through the foot hills. We went fast and had fun. I wish he was still with us, but he will always be in my heart as I continue through life and proceed in my goals in becoming the greatest teacher I can, just like Tony. I dedicate my teaching to Tony since indeed he is my inspiration. My sympathy goes out to his family, that I never got to meet, but from what my parents say they are as sweet as Tony, and to his students... They may of known him as a teacher, but i knew him more then that.. as a teacher, a friend, a good father, and a wonderful motorcycle rider.... i miss you tony... and soon i'll get my pager!
