Tony and I were both teacher...he taught history and I taught chemistry,,,,both at the high school level. Several times we met at various WOTI functions and I always looked forward to our discussions. It became obvious very early on that he was very passionate about two things: motorcycling and teaching. We would often sit and discuss both. Often, he would ask me history questions and explain the answers and I would quiz him on chemistry issues. He loved teaching and when I was recruited for a position outside of teaching, he was the one I turned to as a sounding board. We often exchanged e-mails and once we had to defend the teaching profession during a furious discussion.
I know that I am just rambling, but I miss him. And, I will miss him for a long time.
