I first met Erold 20 years ago, diving of the old 'Melawondi', when we arrived at what could have been a good spot, the Whale would often jump from the extreme bow of the boat, to check the conditions and see how big a splash he could make, the Barrier Reef knew we had arrived.
where ever he is now, they will know he has arrived.
I have been very proud of his achievments over the years, and like all of us, that have known him, will think of him often.
It has been a pleasure and an honour to have known you whale, thank you.
